The kusudama consists of three shells. Use 3 squares of paper, identical in size. You will also need paper glue.
|Combine the edges (first for one side) and fold their corners over to meet the horizontal fold-line as shown.||Next, valley fold the combined double edge
up, at the same time tuck it into the adjacent section's space. Then repeat
steps 7-8 for other side, thereby locking the model.
