Use a square of paper, colored side up. For practice, it is better to use a large square of paper, for example, a 10-inch (25 cm) square, it makes a model approximately 3 ½ inches (8.5 cm) tall and 5 ½ inches (13.5 cm) wide.
|Pull out the right-hand top point in the direction shown by the arrow.||This should be the result. Now make ‘valley’ folds as shown.||Pull the sloping edge down according to the existing creases to make a shallow tent-like valley fold, at the same time mountain fold the triangular point over to the top.|
