Use a square of paper, colored side up. For practice, it is better to use a large square of paper, for example, a 10-inch (25 cm) square, it makes a model approximately 3 ½ inches (8.5 cm) tall and 5 ½ inches (13.5 cm) wide.
|Valley fold the bottom edge of the triangular flap over to meet the middle vertical fold-line. Press it flat and unfold it. Repeat behind.||Valley fold the bottom edge of the triangular flap along the fold-line made in step 46. Do not press the paper completely flat, but press down on it just a little, as shown.||Pinch and lift up the flap’s bottom edge. Continue to lift up the flap so its edges meet in the middle. Press the paper down neatly, thereby making 2 small triangular flaps.|
