Use a square of paper, colored side up. For practice, it is better to use a large square of paper, for example, a 10-inch (25 cm) square, it makes a model approximately 3 ½ inches (8.5 cm) tall and 5 ½ inches (13.5 cm) wide.
|Valley fold the top edge over and towards the bottom, so it lies along the right-hand top edge of the triangular flap. At the same time, move the bottom point to the right in the direction shown be the arrow.||Valley fold the bottom sloping edge over and towards the left, so it lies along the bottom edge of the triangular flap.||Valley fold the flap’s sloping edge over and towards the left to meet the left-hand edge. Press it flat and unfold it.|
