Sunday was the last day of the exhibition, so many people returned to the Oriland area again and again been captured by Paper Sea Adventure part with Treasure Island, Sailing Ships, fishes and undersea, floral compositions and Greetings Cards. On this convention, we were pleased to meet Susumu Nakajima, a Japanese origami-artist; we met him before on International Origami Festival in Charlotte in 2002. He was here with the big Japanese delegation, which represented different origami-groups from all the Country of Rising Sun. Here are from left to right: Yuri and Katrin Shumakov, a nice lady from Nippon Origami Museum and Susumu Nakajima. |
The convention came to the finale and on Monday evening there was a farewell banquet. We shared a table with our fellow-Canadians, folders from Quebec, Julie Savard and Michel Turmel as well as with our friend Rachel Katz and three Japanese ladies.
