Oriland Workshops and Demonstration
X International Convention of Asociación Española de Papiroflexia (A.E.P.) and 25th A.E.P. Anniversary, El Escorial, Spain, April 28 – May 1, 2007
On the third day of the convention, there was a wonderful weather, so after the lunch all went outside to the garden of Casa de Ejercicios de San José to line up for photos. Here is the collective photo of the A.E.P. convention 2007. We are at the left-hand side, at the back row, near Fritz Junior Jacquet, the only black here, a very nice and creative lad.
On the same day, after the dinner, there was traditional (for the Spanish origami society) performing the anthem of A.E.P. called “Pajarita de Papel”. All we were told to do clapping in certain moments and repeating “Pajarita de Papel”. It was quite an entertainment :)
We found that the Spanish origami society is very distinctive of other origami communities. They are like a big family. They are very friendly, united, expressive, cheerful, passionate, with fiesta mood, not separated by folding levels. Probably, this is national characteristics :) We enjoyed much there.
