Oriland Workshops and Demonstration
X International Convention of Asociación Española de Papiroflexia (A.E.P.) and 25th A.E.P. Anniversary, El Escorial, Spain, April 28 – May 1, 2007
We had another folding session in the second day of the convention. We taught our new heart-shaped paperclips and always popular floral bracelet. We should admit that the Italian group was noted to pick up a perfect combination of colors, so their bracelets were matched to their outfits :) The class went very good. Then, in the lunch time, you could easily recognize people from this class, as they were wearing these floral bracelets.
This is a wonderful view from our room at the convention place, Casa de Ejercicios de San José. Generally, the convention place was rather convenient as all – accommodations, folding and meeting areas, meals were in one place. Later this day we were headed to the upper city to be on the Oriland exhibition. At this day, the famous Spanish newspaper “El Mundo” published a large article about the A.E.P. convention, Oriland and Papiroflexia exhibitions.
The third day of the convention was started by the big folding session. It was supposed we teach our kitten in the regular class room, but it was turned out that there were so much people, who want to learn the kitten, so we were forced to relocate in the large folding area.
There were probably fifty people or more, so Katrin was teaching every step and Yuri was assisting to help and check the result, so each participant had our attention through the process of folding.
