Oriland Workshops and Demonstration
X International Convention of Asociación Española de Papiroflexia (A.E.P.) and 25th A.E.P. Anniversary, El Escorial, Spain, April 28 – May 1, 2007
The second day of the convention was started by the long folding session. We taught our clownfish, the new model from our upcoming CD “Origami Sailing: Paper Sea Adventure”. The day before that, many visitors noticed this fish on our exhibition, immediately recognizing its shape and exclaiming: “Nemo!”.
The convention participants were pleased when we told we are going to teach it at the convention. So, the class was full and we started. Despite of the language difference (almost all were Spanish folders) people did caught folding techniques pretty well and all we spoke English-Spanish-Origamish mixed language :)
Folding went smoothly and cheerful. The folders were rather experienced and even some did two clown fishes at once.
After the class, everyone was happy with the Nemo fish. Later at the same day, there was another spontaneous teaching of this clownfish, at the evening in folding area, we have been asked to teach it once again to people who did not get the class in the morning.
