Exhibition ORILAND Charles B. Wang Center, Stony Brook University, Stony Brook, NY, USA, August 1 - 8, 2007
"A mind-blowing exhibition by Yuri and Katrin Shumakov features Origami clowns and goblins, beautiful flower arrangements (Oribana) and sprawling medival castles. This exhibition is a visual feast of amazing creativity, artistry and talent."
Goblington Kingdom is inhabited by Goblins, the cutest and kindest creatures. They like strawberries and flowers and make friends with all neighbors.
The notable Castle of Goblington is 1 meter (40 inches) high and was built from 780 pieces of paper! From Exhibition Guestbook: “The exhibit was really great especially the goblins castle”
Goblins Gardens feature Chrysanthemums and clematises in this season. This is a good place to read books, meet friends or just sit and enjoy the flowers.
Scouts talk to Goblin-Painter about painting the Watch Tower, because it needs to be re-painted before winter :)
Goblington’s Residential Area adjoins the strawberries farms. Goblins Cottages are cosy and well-designed: each is 12 inches (30 cm) high and was folded from 100 sheets of paper.
After all work, it’s good to have Tea Party in circle of friends-goblins :) Treating kittens with milk is also very important. From Exhibition Guestbook: “We loved the goblins... The monsters are my favorite!!!” It's nice to be in Goblington, but now, off we go to Oriland Sea.
