Oriland display: Paper Sea Adventure - Undersea life
This very colorful part of the Oriland display was all about undersea life. You can see corals, fishes, sea plant and, of course, Treasure Chest on the seafloor! All these designs are from the new 'Origami Sailing: Paper Sea Adventure' Collection.
This cute origami Devil fish, also called Angler fish, was one of favorites on the display. Chasing the smaller fishes with his tricky light on a fishing-rod and a wide mouth, this Devil Fish still looks friendly :)
Treasure Chest also attracted viewers' attention. This is one of the complex models from the 'Origami Sailing' Collection; it folds from one sheet of paper, its diagrams showed in 116 steps, placed on 18 pages. This undersea display exposed many other models - Purple Sea Fan, Sea grass with seahorses playing in, Sea-stars exploring the seabed and more.
In the middle of this display, there is an orange clownfish – another popular model and an unmistakably recognizable fish :) “Nemo!” – this exclamation was heard many many times at this part of the Oriland display. We taught this design on this convention as well as on the recent Spanish origami convention and people loved this fish. For those of you, who interested in folding, this model is on the '‘Origami Sailing'’ Collection.
