Oriland display: Paper Sea Adventure - Sailing Ships
Off the Treasure Island, the Oriland display opens into the sea area with numerous Sailing Ships and different fishes.
The Sailing Ships section attracted people a lot and received enthusiastic reviews in abundance.
The Sailing Ships – 2-mast 'Moonlight', 1-mast ‘Brave’ and 3-mast 'Sunny Wind'. The 2-mast ‘Moonlight’ with blue sails is 32 inches (80 cm) long. The small 1-mast '‘Brave' is 12 inches (30 cm) long and the gigantic 3-mast ‘Sunny Wind’ is 45 inches (115 cm). So, you can imagine the sizes of the display, eh!
With all sails set, the 3-mast ‘Sunny Wind’ was a centerpiece of the sea area of the exhibition. 'Sunny Wind' was folded from 500 sheets of paper, of course, with no any glue! It has so many details, so it’s practically impossible to see them all in a first glance. Usually spectators came back again and again to look at the ship carefully.
