ORILAND's Toy-ronto Kingdom at CNE!
Our TOY-RONTO Kingdom at Canadian National Exhibition was a huge hit! Displayed at Art, Craft and Hobbies Pavilion (Queen Elizabeth Building) from Aug 16 to Sept 2, 2013, our Toy-ronto attracted lots of visitors. TOY-RONTO is our whimsical vision of Toronto created in origami that features notable Toronto landmarks, including CN Tower, Old City Hall Castle, New City Hall, Harbourfront as well as Ferris Wheel and Princes' Gates, that are a recognizable symbol of the CNE itself! We used more than 10,000 pieces of paper to create this without gluing or cutting. 8-metre diorama impressed people with intricate details, colours and joyful origami vision of our beautiful city. Along with the display there was a workshop area where visitors had an opportunity to try their hands in origami. All in all Toy-ronto exhibit was very popular!

The CNE is Canada’s largest annual community event. Taking place over the 18 days leading up to and including Labour Day, the CNE offers a wide variety of entertainment and events. 2013 CNE attracted a total 1.36 million people over the course of the fair.
