Know the most basic points about origami - its symbols because they will help you to read diagrams for folding from almost any origami source. |

It is very important to understand these origami symbols because they show the direction in which the paper has to be folded. Look at the diagram to note which way the lines, dots and arrows - all symbols demonstrate, and fold your paper under the diagram. If you are novice in origami, start to learn how to read diagrams of folding. Take a few squares of paper and study the following symbols and techniques. If you'll have this way, surely you will get to know the most basic points about origami. And, after spending a few minutes learning the symbols, you will be able to fold from almost any guide (book, CD or something else) on origami, even if you cannot understand the language in which it is written.
