This is our development of the classical kusudama. The kusudama consists of six modules. Use 6 squares of paper, identical in size. You will also need paper glue.

Roll the middle flaps out too, thereby shaping the rose.   Here is the completed rose-module for the kusudama.   Back view. The modules are glued together using the marked surfaces.
