KUSUDAMA ROSE Traditional model Complexity: medium This is our development of the classical kusudama. The kusudama consists of six modules. Use 6 squares of paper, identical in size. You will also need paper glue.

Valley fold the inner two edges of each small square over, so they lie along their respective square's middle fold-line. Press them flat and unfold them.		Mountain fold the four corners behind as shown, thereby making little triangles on the reverse side. Press the paper flat.		Open out the flaps slightly, and start rolling the flaps on a thin cylindrical object, for example, a plastic knitting needle, as far as it will go.
