Valley fold the inner two edges of each small square over, so they lie along their respective square's middle fold-line. Press them flat and unfold them. | Mountain fold the four corners behind as shown, thereby making little triangles on the reverse side. Press the paper flat. | Open out the flaps slightly, and start rolling the flaps on a thin cylindrical object, for example, a plastic knitting needle, as far as it will go. |
